The film follows Nina (Natalie Portman) a ballet dancer in New York City who, after receiving the lead role in Swan Lake, struggles with the forthcoming challenge of embodying the dastardly Black Swan while still managing to hold on to the quintessential essence of who she really is. The film is getting mixed reviews at present, but I’ll wait patiently to cast my vote.
I’m young, must of been about about seven as my brother wasn’t born till the following year. And I’m at that age where I’m starting to bug people with endless stupid questions. I’ve dabbled with bits of animation here and there and although I often like the outcome I find the whole process to be a little too time consuming, and to be frank a tad tedious. However I do enjoy the freedom you posses as an animator to do all sorts of crazy things. Even more exciting is how diverse the animation industry is. Geographical locaion plays a massive contribution to its diversity, technique and the media used plays another and finally an artist own style layed on top makes for a truley delicious sandwich of motion graphic goodness. Get chomping on this variety of tasty animations. Yum!
As the days go on I rarely have to defend my iPad to less understanding foke, either the device is becoming more widely accepted or the hype has worn off and people are just less bothered to criticize. Whatever the reason the apps available are growing at such a rate it’s hard to keep up with the best of the best. Anyway here is my breakdown of this months must haves.
